Bitten By A Kitten Rescue Mission Statement
“Bitten By A Kitten Rescue is a private rescue in the San Francisco-East Bay area. We save orphan kittens from euthanasia in local shelters and take litters from private parties. We often take orphan litters to bottle-feed. Our kittens are all raised underfoot to be happy, healthy, friendly and affectionate family pets, with no bad habits. Kittens are spayed/neutered before they go to their adoptive homes, to be certain that they will never contribute to the tragedy of the overpopulation of companion animals in this country.”
We are recognized by the IRS as a Public Benefit Charity under IRC 501(C)(3). Please consider a tax-free donation via the PayPal link above. We also accept Venmo and have an Amazon wishlist that can be found on the BBAK linktree
BBAK Rescue is funded by direct donations to the Rescue and by adoption fees obtained when kittens are placed with new families. All funds received are used to pay BBAK expenses to further the aims of the Rescue. These include: Spay and Neuter costs for each kitten, vaccination costs for each kitten, flea and worming treatment medications, antibiotics and other medications, additional veterinary costs as they arise, administration costs directly supporting the aims and purposes of the Rescue.
BBAK is headquartered in Crocket, CA, and serves the East and South bay areas. Descriptions of our kittens and all information having to do with adoption can be found on our Facebook page Bitten By A Kitten on Facebook, which is updated daily.
