Who Are We?

Bitten By A Kitten Rescue is a private rescue in the San Francisco-East Bay area. We save orphan kittens, emergency cats and kittens and disabled kittens from euthanasia in local shelters and take litters from private parties. We often take orphan litters to bottle-feed. Our kittens are all raised underfoot to be happy, healthy, friendly and affectionate family pets, with no bad habits. Kittens are spayed/neutered before they go to their adoptive homes, to be certain that they will never contribute to the tragedy of the overpopulation of companion animals in this country.

Adopting a Friend

Our adoption donation includes your new kitten’s spay or neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, de-fleaing, and a healthy-kitten vet check. All of our rescues are fully socialized and litter box trained.

We ask that adopters fill out our simple adoption application and email it back to us so that we can assure the best possible homes for our kittens.
